The AAMC Women’s Center for Pelvic Health welcomed Kay Ann Hoskey, MD, a fellowship trained/board certified urogynecologist and obstetrician/gynecologist, to the program in 2010. Dr. Hoskey was previously a staff physician in obstetrics and gynecology at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, where she was a lieutenant commander in the Medical Corps, U.S. Navy. Prior to joining AAMC, she completed the Johns Hopkins Fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery program. Dr. Hoskey received her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine in New York (MD, 2000) and completed an internship and residency at National Navy Medical Center and Walter Reed Medical Center (2004). She completed a three year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (urogynecology) at Greater Baltimore Medical Center/University of Maryland/Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center (2010). She became board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics And Gynecology in 2005, and was among the first surgeons in the country to be certified by American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology/Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery in 2013. Dr. Hoskey is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, a member of the American Urogynecologic Society and a member of the International Urogynecology Society.
