Jessica Ton, MD, is a fellowship-trained minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon. A Maryland native, she started her medical career as a scribe in the Emergency Department at Anne Arundel Medical Center as an undergraduate at the University of Maryland, College Park. She completed a 2-year fellowship in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery prior to starting at Luminis Health in 2019.
Dr. Ton has a focused practice designation in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She is an expert at advanced pelvic surgery for benign conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, infertility, and pelvic pain. She is certified on the Davinci Robotics platform and also does traditional laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. She has presented at national conferences for the American Association of Gynecologic laparoscopy (AAGL) and Society of Gynecologic Surgeons (SGS) and published in medical journals. She was invited to be an active member of SGS by her colleagues in 2021.
Dr. Ton is fluent in Vietnamese and Spanish. In addition, she is passionate about surgical education and started the surgical education curriculum for the inaugural OB-GYN residency class in July 2020 and has been continued to active with surgical education. She was given a surgical teaching award by the resident classes in 2021.
Dr. Ton is also the Obstetrics and Gynecology medical clerkship director at Luminis Health.
