Ryan A Miller, MD is an Associate Program Director and Inpatient Faculty member of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Dr. Miller was born and raised in Ellicott City, Maryland, and completed his undergraduate work at the University of Maryland where he studied Physiology and Neurobiology. Subsequently, he earned his Medical Degree at Saint Louis University in Missouri and completed his internal medicine training at Washington Hospital Center in DC. Dr. Miller joined Anne Arundel Medical Center in 2017 and has been a member of the residency faculty since the program’s inception in 2020. Dr. Miller is passionate about medical education, and understands that the resident physicians we train today will be the attending physicians of tomorrow who are responsible for the care of our community members. To this end, Dr. Miller has developed and directs the Medical Educator Track, which gives select members of the internal medicine residency program training and mentored practice during their residency to facilitate success early in their careers as clinical educators. Dr. Miller is a strong advocate for personal accountability, and serves at the mentor and facilitator for the program Morbidity and Mortality conference.
Dr. Miller currently lives in Glenelg, MD with his wife, two children, and his golden retriever. In his free time, Dr. Miller enjoys the outdoors, reading, and fishing.
