Hamid Zahiri, DO

H. Reza Zahiri, DO, FACS, is a board certified surgeon, a member of the American College of Surgeons and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES). He has advanced training in using minimally invasive techniques to address hernia disease, diverticulitis of the colon, pathologic reflux, hiatal hernias, gastrointestinal neoplasms and inflammatory bowel disease. Dr. Zahiri also practices routine general surgery such as soft tissue mass removal, hidradenitis suppurativa, and dialysis catheter removal and insertion.
Dr. Zahiri's treatment philosophy is to provide the most advanced care to patients in the safest and most compassionate fashion. As the Chief of Surgery at Luminis Health Doctors Community Medical Center he collaborates with all our surgeons to adopt and implement this philosophy to ensure that our health care system meets the needs of our communities.
