Fazeena Shanaz, MD, FACE, FACP, is a board-certified endocrinologist and the interim director of endocrinology at Luminis Health. She completed her internal medicine residency at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University and her endocrinology fellowship at Howard University Hospital.
Dr. Shanaz has years of experience in general endocrinology and diabetes, as well as managing complex conditions such as pituitary, thyroid, and adrenal diseases, thyroid cancer, bone disorders, and genetic-related endocrine disorders. She enjoys providing comprehensive care by understanding and connecting with her patients.
In her free time, Dr. Shanaz enjoys outdoor activities, traveling, gardening, canvas painting and exercise.
