We know mental and behavioral health care isn't always easy to find. Or if you find it, it's not available when you need it. Or it's not within easy reach.
That's why at Luminis Health we make your mental health our priority. We have the mental and behavioral health care you need, when you need it and where you need it.
Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center offers Emergency Room (ER) areas that focus on substance abuse, psychiatric issues or a combination of both. Plus, we offer a dedicated pediatric ER that can help adolescents and teens in crisis.
We'll find out what's going on and plan the best steps for you.
If you need to stay in the hospital, our team takes the worry off your shoulders. We'll coordinate the transition to a Luminis Health inpatient care unit or refer you to another facility that might better serve your needs.
Most people who use our ER for mental and behavioral health concerns go home. But that doesn't mean you're on your own. Before you leave, you'll have clear instructions on what to do next to help you on the road to recovery.
