Milajurine Lindsay-Vicks, MPAS, PA-C, earned her physician assistant degree from Howard University in Washington, D.C., and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Nebraska in Omaha. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of South Carolina.
Before joining Luminis Health, she provided care to patients with endocrine disorders at Emory Healthcare and Eagle's Landing Diabetes and Endocrinology in Atlanta. She has also worked with the MedStar Health Research Institute, Georgetown University Hospital, and Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C. Additionally, she served as an assistant professor in the Howard University Physician Assistant Program. Her professional affiliations include the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Lindsay-Vicks has a background in clinical research on diabetes and metabolism, serving as a co-investigator on various trials. She also has experience in preventive care for breast and cervical cancer and weight management. She provides high-quality care and educating patients on healthier lifestyles to improve and prevent disease progression. "Each patient should be educated on what it means to live healthier for a better quality of life," she says.
In her free time, Lindsay-Vicks enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, traveling and reading.
