John McBroom, MD

Dr. McBroom is board-certified and fellowship-trained in gynecologic oncology. He is the director of gynecologic oncology clinical trials at Luminis Health. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, American Society of Clinical Oncology and Society of Gynecologic Oncology. In addition to his fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and his postdoctoral research fellowship at NCI, he has been published in multiple peer review journals and has presented at national meetings. Dr. McBroom utilizes advanced diagnostic techniques including molecular tumor analysis, sentinel lymph node mapping, and genetic analysis in developing treatment plans for his patients.
Dr. McBroom provides individualized, compassionate, and comprehensive care to women with gynecological malignancies. Dr. McBroom specializes in treating ovarian, uterine, and other gynecologic cancers and has particular expertise in minimally invasive robotic surgical procedures.
