Bio

Doris Tate, NP, is board-certified in advanced diabetes management and is a certified diabetes care and education specialist. She began her nursing career 20 years ago as a nursing assistant and has advanced to become an adult-gerontology nurse practitioner. She earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nursing from Wilmington University.

Tate is dedicated to educating her patients on dietary and lifestyle modifications to help them achieve and maintain their health and wellness goals.

An Eastern Shore native, she enjoys traveling, running, gardening and spending time with her family.
